The Cast Meeting will be this Saturday from 9am-10am this is a kickoff meeting to get materials to you and to discuss what to expect as we put the production together. There is also a few forms to fill out, yes bureaucracy must be served, so be sure to bring something to write with (I am sure all of you have countless sharpened pencils in your instrument case, right next to the fresh AA’s for your tuner! =) ) after the meeting we will segue into our first rehearsal, from 10am-1pm, every other Saturday we will be done by noon, this Saturday is just a little long due to the cast meeting.

The Community Center (1912 West 1900 South), where we will be rehearsing does not have stands, so be sure to bring a music stand.

I look forward to working with each of you this year and look forward to getting started on Saturday.

  • Syracuse Symphony Orchestra Committee Meeting Tuesday February 19th @ 7pm

The Syracuse Symphony Orchestra Committee will be holding a Committee Organization meeting on Tuesday February 19th at 7pm in the Syracuse Recreation Center. This will be our first formal meeting since forming and we will need to address a way to hold regular formal meetings as the group is growing to a point where we will need to have regular active help and fill the remaining positions left on the committee: Some of our agenda items will include:

    1. Determine a formal meeting format and frequency.

    2. 2013 schedule

    3. Open Committee Positions

    4. Suggestions and Questions
